The Webinar Instructor: Allen E. Tait CPA, CFI
Allen has worked in both the public accounting industry and the public sector during his career. His 20 year public sector career, prior to his 2018 retirement, was with the Internal Audit Division of the Ontario government specializing in investigations. His roles included Investigator, Senior Manager and Director. His portfolio included extensive work on conflict of interest investigations and working with non-profit organizations victimized by acts of malfeasance. Through this experience, he has developed webinars that can provide charitable and non-profit organizations with practical tools to help strengthen their existing fraud risk mitigation plans. While no organization can prevent attempts at fraud, sound fraud risk management practices allow for the early identification of incidents, enabling timely initiation of a cost effective response.
