Growing Communities

The Growing Communities initiative by United Way Niagara addresses food insecurity by increasing access to healthy, fresh food through support of a community garden network and a garden hub at Niagara College. The gardens don't only grow produce for food programs and shelters but also offer food literacy education, such as nutrition and cooking workshops.
