Annual General Meeting 2025

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The Annual Meeting of United Way Niagara will be held:

June 23, 2025 | 5:30 pm
BETHLEHEM HOUSING & SUPPORT SERVICES
111 Church Street, St. Catharines, ON L2R 3C9

This is a meeting of the membership of the corporation. Individuals interested in membership must apply no later than June 16, 2025 by emailing frances@unitedwayniagara.org. This Annual Meeting will receive reports of the operations and affairs of the Corporation for the fiscal period ending March 31, 2025, appoint auditors for 2026 and conduct any other business properly presented.

The current Board of Directors consists of the following individuals:

Roderick McDowell
Maria Menechella
Dorita Pentesco
Sean Simpson

The nominating committee will present a slate of directors as follows:

For a term of three years:
Laurie Andrews | Andrew Maloney

Reelected for a three-year term:
April Cotton

Reelected for a one-year term:
Pam Lilley

Anyone wishing to nominate further individuals to serve on the Board of Directors to be voted upon at the Annual General meeting, must submit the nomination in writing to the Secretary, not less than seven days prior to such Annual Meeting and such nomination must be signed by at least five current members of United Way Niagara, together with a signed statement from the nominee indicating a willingness to serve as a director if elected.
