United Way Niagara announces a $5 million dollar campaign achievement

5 million raised for our community

Niagara, ON, March 12, 2026 – As another fundraising campaign draws to a close, United Way Niagara announced a five-million-dollar campaign achievement at the annual Campaign Celebration Breakfast.  United Way Niagara is grateful to the donors, volunteers, labour partners and funded agencies that continue to come together to make a united impact on the lives of people in need throughout the region.

Led by Campaign Chair and Chief Strategy Officer at Delta4 Digital, Allie Hughes, the message at the campaign celebration was that the true measure of this campaign’s success is in the number of lives changed in our community.

“Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the generosity, dedication, and heart of our Niagara community—and it has been nothing short of inspiring. I want to extend my deepest gratitude to United Way for their unwavering commitment to building a stronger, more connected Niagara,” said Hughes. “We know the true impact of this campaign is measured in the lives changed, hope restored, and opportunities created. Together, we have made a meaningful difference across Niagara.”

United Way Niagara CEO Frances Hallworth believes United Way Niagara is positioned well to respond to the challenges faced during previous campaigns.

“As the challenges in our community continue to change and evolve, so should we at United Way,” said Hallworth. “That’s why we are excited about what the future holds, with our new building on St. Paul Street allowing us improved collaboration with our partners and greater visibility in the community. I believe we are well positioned to continue responding to the biggest social issues in Niagara and raise vital funds to invest in the future of the region.”

The Campaign Celebration gathered local donors, supporters, businesses, labour partners and social service agencies to reflect on the impact made on hundreds of thousands of community members in 2025 and recognize those who went above and beyond for Niagara.
